We have to produce a 12-page, full-colour, Tabloid-size "newspaper" consisting of study materials to help OCR media studies students answer the a2 critical perspectives exam.
In small groups we will need to research, plan and produce our own case studies, learning plans and lesson activities for use by students and teachers in post-16 education (schools, sixth-form, and FE colleges) we must also find advertisers to help cover our costs of production.
We should aim to make the paper visually interesting, intellectually engaging, exam specific and up-to-date.
So we should: Think of games, investigation and simulations, comic strips, timelines, info-graphics, interviews and analysis of our own primary research with real audience and media users/producers.
